TSG Global Week mission
The mission of TSG Global Week is to interest as many people as possible in the values that traditional sport brings, so that the diversity of its forms inspires attitudes of respect and understanding of cultural identity, connects people and allows for mutual understanding.

TSG Global Week aims to promote traditional sports and games worldwide by engaging many different environments in implementing activities for traditional sports and games .

TSG Global Week is open to any organization that wants to organize an event, including schools, kindergartens, universities, sports organizations, non-governmental organizations, sports associations and clubs, federations, institutes.

1) Final day of the 28th traditional sports course in the primary schools of the Aosta Valley - Italy

Brief Description of the Event: The event is planned by 150-200 athletes from all over the country. High-ranking persons such as the Minister of Education and Research, the Prime Minister of Republic of Moldova, other guests and partners of the event are invited. Media reresentatives from all over the country are also invited.

2) XIII Torneo de Uárhukua Ch’anakua de los Búhos del Bosque – México

Event Type: Sports tournament
Brief Description of the Event: Different teams from different towns and cities from Michoacan, and other states; play 20 min games of Uárhukua Ch’anakua. Game has 5 players per side, each one of them with wooden sticks, hitting a ball made of stripped cotton and henequén ribbon. A point is given each time a team crosses the ball through the end of field line of the opposite team. If there’s no difference in score points, game winner is the one that is closer to the end line of the opposite team, there’s always a winner. Awards given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place; male and female categories.

3) Czech-Moravian Cup 2025, table hockey (BILLIARD-HOCKEY / SPRTEC) - Czech Republic

Brief Description of the Event: Through effort, skill and a deep spiritual connection, the Durango representative team, COLOTL, along with the XOLOTL youth team, renew an ancestral tradition: the Mesoamerican hip ball game. These groups of high-performance athletes have not only cultivated a remarkable physical capacity, but have also developed an integral preparation that harmonizes body, mind and spirit, based on the fundamental principles of the cosmovision of the original peoples of Mexico.
The ullamaliztli, as the ancient Nahuas called it, is much more than a sport; it is a symbolic ritual that reflects the cosmic order and the eternal struggle between the universal forces. Each impact of the ball against the hip is an echo of the cyclical movement that sustains the balance of the world, a tangible representation of the cosmic cycles revered by pre-Hispanic civilizations.
In this event, COLOTL and XOLOTL revive the spirit of the ancient warriors, demonstrating that the ball game is a sacred legacy that continues to pulsate in those who practice it. With discipline, honor and devotion, these athletes pay homage to a tradition that transcends time, inviting the public to immerse themselves in an ancestral practice that even today illuminates the path with its wisdom and spirituality.
Both teams are part of the Association of Indigenous and Traditional Games and Sports of the State of Durango (AJDATD), with the endorsement of the Mexican Federation of Indigenous and Traditional Games and Sports (FMJDAT), as well as the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE), ensuring the preservation and dissemination of this invaluable cultural heritage.

4) The tradition continues: Educating youth in the sport of traditional Wrestling – North Macedonia

Brief Description of the Event: The motto of the TSG Global Week event is Tradition Continues. There will be mainly young age groups from primary and secondary schools. They will be classified according to age and category. The number of participants will be around 300 competitors. This event will be a good impulse for the sport of wrestling in the Republic of North Macedonia. This will be a good opportunity to guide our youth towards tradition and culture. At the same time, the event will also be accompanied by traditional music of drums, which is a symbol of the tradition of traditional wrestling.

The team (made up of three players) that reaches the finish line with the fewest throws, wins the race.
