Georgian Kettlebell Sport, Mas-wrestling, Tug of War and CrossFit National Federation

Founded in 2014 and promoting several traditional sports. One of them is wrestling with stick "Mas-Wrestling", which has been recognised by the world since 2012 as a traditional ethnic sport of republic Sakha-Yakutia (Russia), however we have found in our sport archives here that this sport was familiar to our nation as well many centuries ago as a Shepard Stick Wrestling style. Since 2015 we have won World's gold medal in heavy weight category among men in 2016 by Zviad Kajaia and World's gold medal in 55 kg weigh category among women in 2016 by Valita Gorelchaniki, several Worlds and Europe's silver and bronze medals as well. We have introduced this sport in about 40 secondary schools in Tbilisi and plan to continue so with all schools throughout the country. We also have plans to create Mas-Wrestling clubs in Army, Police and penitential institutions.
Quite similarly we are working to develop and promote Kettle-bell and Tug of War, however without any financial support from the state still these directions are weakly represented in our country. We believe that these 2 traditional sports have huge potential in Georgia and requires considerable attention from the government.
